JAMES MADISON QUOTE - 1822

"A popular government without popular information, or the means of acquiring it, is but a Prologue to a Farce or a Tragedy; or, perhaps both. Knowledge will forever govern ignorance; and a people who mean to be their own governors must arm themselves with the power knowledge gives."

Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) 2015 Assessment on TVA's Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant, April 19, 2016

April 19, 2016, Decatur, Alabama at Calhoun College,TVA Browns Ferry Nuclear Facility Annual Assessment for 2015, Part 1 and 2 videos, Annual Report posted below via PDF, courtesy of the Chattanooga Times Free Press. Many thanks to the members and donors of BREDL/BEST/MATRR who make these reports possible. . Special thanks to Nancy and Meghan Muse for their timely entrance, you saved me from a NRC shutdown of questions in the public venue. "Let us hear the questions, the research," you said. Very important statement from you. Vitally important that multiple citizens attend these meetings and comment.

NRC Statement by Alan Blamey, Region 2 Chief of the reactor projects stated,"[We]determined that overall, Browns Ferry Units 1, 2, and 3 operated in a manner that preserved public health and safety and met all cornerstone objectives."
