Scottsboro City Council Work Session March 19, 2018

City Council President Tony Wallingsford opens meeting with prayer.

Scottsboro City Clerk Whitney Phillips received recognition for her tireless efforts in preparing the city's municipal ordinances for online publication. The online access to Scottsboro Municipal Ordinances are scheduled for approval in the next council meeting.

City Councilman Keith Smith discusses his support for the Tourism Grant for the upcoming Bass Tournament.

Discussion regarding mowers for Cemetery Department, Agenda Item 3, added to agenda without council approval, not listed on agenda. Cost for 3 mowers, $12,500, trade in for old mowers $1750.

Council Member Patrick Stewart discusses the new Veterans Park Ball Field, he says the new sports field complex will greatly benefit Scottsboro.
