Unfortunately the previous Jackson County Commission failed the citizens as well. The previous commission had stated there were no funds available to implement security, they did not tell the truth. The previous Commission left $4.5 million dollars for the current Commission, some think that is grand. However, the idea is to have a balanced budget, not one that is in the red or in the black to the extent of ridiculousness.

Any political group that would vote ignorance over education to the point it is reflected in their hiring practices are reflective of repression and negative extreamism, this is your majority on the Jackson County Commission.

My comment about those three would be a little less eloquent: They suck.
I feel that this commission is an embarassment to the County. Are they just trying to figure out a way to pocket the money that was set aside for security to say nothing of the equipment that has already been purchased. Perhaps they should think what they will be doing after this term is up. Mr. Stone wants his son as head of the Garbage Dept. and Floyd wants to be the next Chariman of the Commission and trying to make Donna Haislip the next Probabe Judge. These people are all an embarassment to the County. No wonder there are no jobs for the people here. Just my personal opinion.
