The Scottsboro Boys Museum and Cultural Center, 428 West Willow St., Scottsboro, Al., 35768, is sponsoring the Scottsboro/Jackson County MultiCultural Heritage Foundation 1st Annual Juneteenth Celebration from 10AM to 4PM on Saturday, June 19th, 2010. Our guest speaker will be noted professor and author Dr. Kwando Mbiassi Kinshasa, Chairperson of the African American Studies Department, John Jay College of Criminal Justice, City University of New York, author of many books including the "Man from Scottsboro."
